Presidential elections are going to happen in 2020 in the United States & Donald Trump is trying to accomplish important milestones before that & removing their armed forces from Afghanistan is also one of them.
The US entered Afghanistan in 2002 with the intentions of capturing all oil sources - It is said in the book written by Intelligence analysts from France named Jean-Charles Brisad and Guillaume Dasquie. But unfortunately, the US lost millions & many of their soldiers in this war. Talibanis doesn't like United States interference in Afghanistan.
Now, United States president, Donald Trump released a statement yesterday in which he urged India, Iran, and Russia to participate in this war against terrorism. He further stated that America is 7,000 miles away from Afghanistan & they are the only ones who are fighting against terrorism in Afghanistan. He also said that being a neighbor, it is India & Pakistan's responsibility to help them fight against Terrorism so that they can leave Afghanistan.
This is the exact statement of him:
Look, India is right there. They are not fighting it. We are fighting it. Pakistan is right next door. They are fighting it very little. Very, very little. It’s not fair. The United States is 7,000 miles away.
It is one of the milestones that Trump wants to achieve so that he can win the upcoming elections. But doesn't look that easy. Stepping back from Afghanistan has become the greatest issue for the States.
