How to Tackle High Cholesterol?

These days cholesterol is a very common problem among us. 1 out of every 10 people is suffering from this problem. But you know there is nothing to worry about it. It can be cured naturally & without taking any medicines. I am going to list few things below, which you should care to keep your cholesterol   level within normal range.

First of all i want to tell you the type of cholesterol. It is of two types:

1. LDL (low-density lipoproteins) also called "Bad cholesterol “.
2. HDL (high-density lipoproteins) also called "Good cholesterol “.

HDL is good for your health. On the other hand increased LDL is bad for your health. But you can control these levels by following a proper diet plan.

1. Take healthier food: Saturated & Trans fats raise LDL level & reduce HDL level. Common sources of cholesterol   are Diary products with high fat, Red meat, Alcohol. Canola & olive oil contains good fat & can be consumed. Almonds & walnuts are also a good source of health fat.

2. Trans fat: If you are diagnosed with high cholesterol   then avoid trans-fat. Baked things like cookies, crackers, baked cakes are most common source of trans fat. Always check ingredients of the thing for trans-fat. It should have 0% trans-fat.

3. Take Omega-3 fatty acids: Fish is a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids and contains less cholesterol   as compared to red meat. It will promote a good heart health & reduces cholesterol   level as it is rich source of Omega-3.

4. Workout: This is the best solution to reduce cholesterol   levels. Do running, cycling or cardio gym will help you burn calories which in turn will reduce cholesterol   levels. I personally recommend this as i have reduced my cholesterol   levels by doing workout only. If you follow this regularly, you can reduce LDL levels within 1 week.

5. Don’t smoke: Do you smoke? Stop it if you are serious about your health. Smoking not only increase cholesterol levels but also harms your body in many other ways. So avoid this thing if you are diagnosed with high cholesterol.

Kindly consult your doctor also in case your levels are much high.
